I think it's a good idea to leave a little verbal feedback (even in a personal email) when someone takes the time to read your story and then submit low scores like that. Even a one or two line comment saying something like "your story sux...it needs more whatever...less whatever." :) I can second-guess myself all day long, trying to figure out what is meant to be spiteful, or whether it's someone's honest opinion. I dropped by to see how the contest was going and where everyone is ranked. I was amazed to see that you had lost a little ground. Your work is wonderful. I wondered if it had anything to do with those who rated you unfairly on the scale at the left. I think honest critiquing is very helpful, but at this point I think I may have exhausted my own abilities to find the places that need help. I've edited my story to death...:)
