Touching! After reading this story, I wondered what it meant to you as the writer. It left me wondering did you relate this because its true. I understand at the end you give the lesson.. never give up on someone you love.. but you told it and took it deep enough that the point was like, uh huh.. is that really what you want us to know.. Do you know what I mean? Great story and way deep!

Time is so precious...you never know when someone's going to touch your life. Sometimes a "good time" may lead us down a dangerous path from which it may be difficult to return. In your story Dawn seemed to have it all, but on the inside there was a void.

Your story was 50% entertaining and 50% sad but also 100% real and something that a lot of us can relate to in some aspects.

This story was so compelling. I laughed in the beginning, when I wasn't shaking my head about this 13 year old girl drinking and go go dancing with a band. I sobbed at the end and felt such a connection with your character. Great job. God Bless you and good luck with your contest, though I believe you should consider doing more with your talent, than writing stories on bookrix.
