I appreciate your review.
I set-out to journal only a few of the saddest experiences I've had with animals (some represent all animals in general, and some I specifically knew). Of those I knew...I put a notation at the end, as to what the death meant in a community-wide fight toward fair treatment toward animals. I may have to look at how I did that again, as it sounds like I didn't do it very effectively :).

I don't feel that there was room in this book for my 'angry' voice, but if you will look at my profile page - you will see that I have become an 'avenger of animals' through diplomatic channels and hands-on work. I may write something that reflects more of the anger, but honestly...I truly wanted to convey more of the sadness here than anything else. And believe me...anger for the injustice toward these animals is what keeps me fueled, and rekindles the fire when it starts to go out.
I agree with you; that perhaps the repetitive nature of the themes may get tiresome, but what better way to hammer a message home.
I will take your advice though - as I believe you are a fair and honest critic - and revisit this...see what I might be able to change that won't take away what I set-out to do in a specific manner.
Thanks again for stopping by,
Best to you,
Robin
