amazing,sad.... I liked your story so touched and so moving

As I reached the last couple of pages, I had trouble reading it through my tears. Not many stories can do that to me so, kudos Robin. This story definitely tugs at the heart strings, it’s very well written.

My favourite line: '(Annie thought hamburgers were the way of thanking dogs for being so cute)' don't they all?

What a beautiful, sad, tragic story. Very unusual. I'm not used to reading stuff that's this emotional - or at least ... it just really made me feel for the dog.
The prose is excellent & really flows.
It is almost as though the accident is a metaphor for all the tragedy in her life.
Truly unforgetable.

The more I am reading your work, the more I am falling in love with it. Keep writing!

I thought well paced between memories and story, past and present, characters and a feel for the environment she grew up in...sensitive and personal...liked the ending as it leaves alternatives and a way out that does not diminish the intensity of this story.

...who has taken the time to read, vote, and/or offer words of encouragement and advice. I've enjoyed this experience, and have continued to edit throughout the contest--using the advice of the readers and writers who are more experienced than myself.
