Fluent stupid...I cracked up, Leslie!

Your pov was fabulous...the dialect:) In a strange way it reminded me of Steinbeck's Of Mice and Men and Cannery Row:)
But...the humor, especially at the last page was brilliant! I'm still laughing. If I could give you a hundred votes for this one, I would:)

Have you sent a copy to Jeff Foxworthy yet? Holy cow! What a great little diversion in an otherwise blah day - I loved it! My daughter did the same thing once, but not because she was drinking (she was only 12 at the time). She got the bottom of her jeans caught in the top of the fence she was climbing and, well, you can imagine the rest. So I'm going to have her read this (heh-heh). If she doesn't kill me in my sleep, it'll mean she enjoyed it as much as I did. Still laughing....

This was a good story, although the slang might have been a bit much. It did add to the story. That's how people talk down here in the south. All-in-all this was a darn good read, and good luck!
