I just read your entry in the Beat the Clock Contest. You really have a good sci-fi imagination. Given the word limit constraints of the competition, I can see where your ideas might have benefitted from a higher word limit. I really liked the idea of the pendant as a "saving or educational" tool that Gus brought to the twins. If we could have learned of the journey Gus traveled to get to the twins or how he tracked their lives as they grew up, all that would have given us interesting insights on the seriousness of his mission to assure the continuation of their race. I cold see this as a fantastic sci-fi novella. Good Job.
