What a wonderful story crafted in fantasy! You certainly have my vote!

Laz, I agree with Stephen. First the excellent news: this is a wonderful piece of fantasy that children everywhere will love. Think about finishing it, getting fabulous illustrations, and publishing it. We need more stories like this for our children - fantasies rather than vampires or such.

On the other hand, it's not really flash fiction, because it is not wrapped up neatly with a proper ending. Oh who cares? I loved it and will definitely read it over and over again. Please write more!

But in viewing this as a piece of flash, I have to think of it as a complete story. If this is all there is, then it isn't about what hasn't yet happened. I see it as a story about accepting new realities and that most of life is misunderstood, then acting on a faith born of those realizations. Committing to a journey can be the toughest part.
