Lazarus,
I really like your book cover and the story. The way you have written and presented this masterpiece is great. It sounds like it could be made into a movie.
Exceptional writing!

you bring out in this story just how easy it is for some to take their own livesl, that could be avoided if someone could stop them, i honestly believe that satan gives directions in cases where people take their on lives, its like they want to cross over to what may give them peace, but in the end according to my faith that it only take them to hell, i hope you can understand what i am trying to say,
Thanks. Due to the word count restriction, I could only write this much. I may make it into a novel after the contest is over.
I felt good reading this short story. I felt the salty wind and could hear the ocean waves crashing. This was very well written and it clung to me like her night gown to her. I say teasingly good because I can only hope there will be more, this short piece left me with many unanswered questions and happily anticipating finding those answers in the future.
I too suggest you turn it into a longer novel. It's a marvellous tale and I can picture her adventures as she struggles to make the children have faith in her words. Great read.
Great story, for all ages and love the idea of walking out on faith and encouraging others, great job!
or the young at heart. Thank you, for sharing.

Thank you all.
Due to the story being in PDF and possibly because of the new format, I can't make any corrections...except if I remove the story altogether and replace it.
And Janice....that may be a great idea. A collection of unfinished short stories....should be fun.
A lot said, with vivid images and deep in the heart of any soul. Maybe it is okay to make it short? May be it is okay to let the reader carry on with their dream. In your last unfinished stories book - all short but full. Why not a collection. Keep on. Janice
