Another great story. And an especially great story about faith. :) It's not usually my kind of thing but I loved your telling of it.

The story may have been used before but you told it very, very well. I almost didn't want to read the last part, because I sensed what was coming, but you did that bit extremely well, too so I'm glad I did. Guess it shows how important it is to practice one's belief when thing are going well, in order to be in the habit of doing so when they're not.
As always, great job!
usually does result in death. Well told..and scary it can be, but if the voice is heard then obeying builds the faith for the next leap no matter how scary..p;]
I heard a version of something similar years ago. The person at the end asked, "so what is your rope that's holding you back?"
Lazarus,
This is a very touching and thought provoking story. Oh my good the test of Trust and Faith.
Good story. :)
stragith forward - well written and clear. good action beginning at page 8.
I was especially atracted to story since not too many weeks ago watched climbers scaling half=dome in yosmite. Hard straight up - with binoculars I could see them dangling. They took tent like equipment. To huddle in like a swing. Yow.
Good story. If it wasn't your idea, who, where. The irony of it could be told in 23 words or less. :)
