Why haven't i read this before? I thought i had and then opened up the cover and realized i hadn't, if you know what i mean.

Anyway, I thought it was charming and well written and well presented, although I don't think the cover did it justice. I was interested in the many colors you utilized within the prose, so to have a black and white cover, didn't do it for me.

And this is a fantasy book. You should advertise it as such... mehr anzeigen

Not many authors have the ability to warm my heart the way this story did, and for that I applaud you. Very well done :)

If they ever have a contest where they don't show the authors name I still think I could pick out your romantically written story, again very entertaining.Serena

Thanks Serena.

July, I remember Cocoon well...yes I can see where the similarity is. But I will need to see 'The Cage" again...I'm very sure I saw it often back then.

Hi Laz,

How to find that magical place is a theme that runs through all your stories that I’ve read; they all search for a magical land where they get renewed or transformed into an angelic existence. But, each story stands on its own, beautifully crafted with wonderful descriptive sentences that show us that somewhere there is a place that transcends the harshness and ugliness of life. An enjoyable read.

My Star Trek/sci-fi roots are probably showing, but this story is like a melding of "Cocoon" and the pilot episode of the original "Star Trek" series, "The Cage." The difference, however, is that your story is beautifully told and has embraced in 11 pages what took those two productions forever to convey. How do you do that? You're awesome, and I can't wait to cast my vote for you in August!
