Definitely emotional. I really like the way you don't shy around the realities or paint the scene in noble colors. The stark desolation of this is really beautiful. There were a few grammar things, but overall I really really liked it. A true tribute to what happened.
I would rather write about happy events, but we cannot ignore disasters such as these.
