Hi, thanks for the friend request! As a comment on the earlier posts about the layout, it is clear to me that the layout you have chosen is not arbitrary. In Rollercoaster, for example, and in the first poem, Winter... don't worry about centering. It does look nice, but some poems require a different layout as you obviously know.
I have flicked through a couple of books in this competition, and none of them have struck me as particularly good, really. Your poems are the first I have come across that play on my ear nicely, though there are a couple of things that would benefit from readdressing, such as: your 'strict iambic pentameter' is not strictly iambic, (but I like the imagery in that poem), and Winter, as the first poem, ALMOST put me off because punctuation is not used methodically. This means that some lines are blurred and so meanings and rhythm are thrown off at times. Same goes for Capitalisation at line start. This being said, I enjoyed the majority of the poems I saw, in particular Autumn worked very well for me, and Sea of Gloom had a great circularity and sense of space and time.

Sorry about the essay, my point is: good stuff! I think I will vote for your book. Please look at my book also, and consider for vote, and let me know your thoughts on it.

I agree with vivienne about the layout. It's tricky to get the poems on separate pages, but it would improve the overall effect of your book. I know you can get into your book using the "edit" button and put "new page" before each poem if you try the "advanced" form of editing (if you decide you'd like to try that to do that). Otherwise, I was very impressed with your work...

Are you able to center your poems and vary the font size when posting your book? I think that the layout of your book can be improved on, and it would be nice if you could add more poems to your book. I am new here and yours is the first book I read as I joined the site.

I also write poetry and am a published poet and would love to share my poetry with you.

I hope to submit a book for this competition as well.
