Awesome book.
I really enjoyed reading.
I cant wait for the next update :D
This is a really good book. Take it from a 15 year old that actually knows about stuff like this. I love your storyline and how you describe Shasta's feelings. You definitly have our language correct.
But the thing is your too formal. Your description is precise but you need to get people to really feel like they are there you know?
Other than that it's a really good book and will be in my favorites

I can see, after having read 2, that upon the completion of this book, I'm going to HAVE to add it to my library. If for no other reason than it's a reference for "How To Write". You've latched onto first pov as though you'd been born to it. That's the first thing. Shasta is everyone's idea of Hero. You've nailed her. Some of the extremely clever sentence descriptions made me laugh and say (to myself:), "Now why can't you... mehr anzeigen
Wow, I love this book!! I wish you continue it!! It's great, I want to know what happens to Shasta!! **Weird name, reminds me of pasta, but it's cool**
BTW your book cover is soo cute!! <3
Awesome! I just posted Chapter Two. ')
Oh, and thank you so much, lol!
Awesome!! And your welcome!
It's well written,and I feel Shasta's pain and struggle! v.v I'm mostly like that.
Scenario: I don't have any idea who you are--just some teen writer (assumption). I happen upon your story, and although the cover doesn't knock me out (I'm a guy, and images of bunnies eating cookies doesn't make me sigh or get all fuzzy), I like the little blurb, though. Like the title, too. Has an open-ended feel to it. Promise, I guess you might say.
I click "Read Book".
Oh man, she writes in long paragraphs! This might take... mehr anzeigen
A really fun read.
Now, since you haven't gone into any great detail as to what Sashta looks like, I cannot help conjuring up the image of Mary...from the film 'Mary and Max'.
Watched it - sweet, cute, sad, well-written, observant, funny, altogether a wonderful film. You're right - I love this film. Thank you so much for recommending it!
I don't see Shasta exactly like that, but yes, there are many similarities. Good catch! ')
Good. Glad you enjoyed it.
And yes, Shasta is not made out of clay.
Not yet...
Awesome beginning. Can't wait to see what comes next :).
Thank you so much! I'll post the next chapter as soon as I can. ')
Dammit, Pat, I need a tissue! Thank you so much - I needed that encouragement more than you know. I was wondering if I'd been doing this story right, thinking maybe it was lame, that I was messing up my tenses, that some of my references were outrageous and silly. It's like you... mehr anzeigen
Dammit, Pat, I need a tissue! Thank you so much - I needed that encouragement more than you know. I was wondering if I'd been doing this story right, thinking maybe it was lame, that I was messing up my tenses, that some of my references were outrageous and silly. It's like you just dumped a cool bucket of you-can-do-it water on my head, and I'm grinning like the Cheshire Cat and sniffing at the same time.
Sigh. Thank you! Off to write Chapter 3.
