As you know, I love fantasy.And it's nice to be in the presence of someone like-minded as myself. This great start to a great tale reminds me of my story about shapeshifters...but in my case it wasn't about huge beings, such as dragons, but ones much smaller than humans...and a lot more dangerous...fairies. just kidding.

This is a lovely tale with many original elements which render it very special indeed! I enjoyed the story so much I had to keep reading... One thing which could be improved, in my humble opinion, was how fast he fell in love with her, being an extremely old dragon and knowing how short a life-span she would have is it credible? Maybe it is, that's just my personal view, however, nothing could mar the perfection of this story. I would love to see the story developped into something bigger.

I must begin by saying WOW! But there is SO much I'd like to say about this utterly enchanting...beginning. It might not fit in this small forum.
1) The imagination behind this small work of art is timely, and seemingly godlike in its scope.
2) Your prose is perfect, with visuals that are so lovely in the words chosen and strung like pearls in an elegant necklace.
3) There is a profound message relevant to all readers, especially our (the world's) young, impressionable kids here. Tolerance, and the "blindnessness" that true love should be. He loved her initially because of her song. She loved him because of his kindness and warmth. Who/what they happened to be physically was of little consequence.
I could...I will...go on, elsewhere.
This "book" MUST be presented to a much, much wider audience. It promises greatness. On a scale of one to ten. Twenty. No, nineteen. I found an error :) You must change the word "regulator" far into the story, to something else!!! I felt as though I'd been taken out of the era and cast into a Lloyd Bridges episode of Sea Hunt :)
