Aw, thank you! I just really love telling stories. I have about thirty or so more rattling around in my head at the moment. What I don't have is the time to get them all out, but eventually I will, lol.

I do have a few for sale, but I put them here for free for my BookRix "family," because everyone here is so awesome. In fact, I just published the third in my MacDara Chronicles series.

If you go to Amazon and put my name in the search box, you'll see the ones that are currently for sale in paperback, as well as a few that are just on Kindle. The published versions are a little more finely edited, but basically the same. If you're interested, they're "Overcomer - The Journey: Book I of The MacDara Chronicles," "Overcomer - The Battle: Book II of The MacDara Chronicles," and in about a week, "Defender - Beginnings: Book III of The MacDara Chronicles." There are some others there, too, like "The Warriors of Rinn," and "Dark Life, Bright Death." But since no one knows my name or what I've written, I don't exactly have a following yet. Ah, well. Maybe some day.

In the meantime, I'm just having all kinds of fun writing and reading other people's stuff here, and helping where I can. I also continue to get great advice that helps me constantly improve my writing. You seem to be among those whose love of writing is the real deal, too.

Hey, wait. I just realized something. You're from Ireland, right? The MacDara Chronicles are about a kid from 6th Century Donegal who time-travels to present-day America. I've never been to Ireland, so had to rely on my imagination for the descriptions I give of his home. If you ever have the time to read that first one in the series, maybe you could let me know if I'm way off the mark or, by some miracle, close to right. The beauty of using CreateSpace is that I can change things in my books whenever I want; I just have to pay a nominal fee, and the books they print after I make the changes will be "fixed."

Yep I'm an Irish paddy alright, wow love the idea of time travel , I'm going to check that out, I can make a little video for you in Donegal and send to ye, I need a day trip out of Dublin over the next 2/3 weeks I'll send you the scenery of it, like I'll film my surrounding's and show you what it's like and post it on bookrix

When I'm famous...ah, wouldn't that be nice, lol. Forget you? Nope. I'll finally be in a position to promote you and all the other wonderful story-tellers I've come to know and respect over the years. To me, that's the best part of being successful - sharing it. ')

I can't wait to see the photos. To give you a glimpse of what I wrote in a later book in the series (there are currently seven, all of which have been written, just not published), here's my character's reaction upon returning to Donegal in the modern age:

Donegal Bay was its usual delicious shade of blue, a color that turned a gentle grey when rain weighed down the sky with thick clouds. But today was a day of sunshine and sparkle, the greens and golds and blues of Ireland spread about in a wild palette of joyful invitation. Grabbing his coat and room key, he left quickly, all of his senses waiting to be overwhelmed with the ancient purity of this land that glowed like a living gem just outside the ponderous walls of man-made protection.

The morning clerk, a woman this time, was too busy putting away keys to notice him as he passed, but she heard his swift steps go by.

Cian opened the front door and stepped through to his Ireland, his home, his heart. And then stood, ignoring everything unnatural, drinking in all that was original and created, wishing he didn’t have to blink, to breathe out. He nearly wept with the deep elation of being back, but controlled his emotions for the time being.

He had much to do. The sun was only newly up, and he had to make some kind of plan so none of the day was wasted. After a final, intoxicating breath of the pristine air, he went, reluctant, back inside.
