The story shows your descriptive writing skills. The descriptive part of the story has become a character in the story for it shows the beauty of love and nature together. Vivid images came flashing in my mind while reading the story. Way to go!!!

So a friend send me your link, i have to say i wasn't happy. You see i'm in the Bad Romance contest too, but OMG! Now i know why you have to bring your A+ Game in these contest. Nicely done. Ok, i'm not J, much. LOL!!

Trouble is, though, I don't think too many people are going to want to read 80 pages, and I don't want to make a pain of myself by begging everyone on the site for reads. However, I've been thoroughly enjoying everyone's entry so far, and have been voting for the many excellent ones. That's probably the best part of these contests (for me, anyhow) - seeing awesome ideas and imaginations prodded to life and giving us the opportunity to become part of the writers' inner worlds.

In any event, thanks so much for taking the time to read the whole thing, and second, for thinking that highly of my story - as I've said over and over, it means so much to me, especially coming from a writer of your caliber. I was not dissapointed with it whatsoever. Well told and well rounded out.

I honestly never thought Jane Austen's name would ever even make it into the same neighborhood as mine, much less be used as a comparison with one of my poor efforts! Dang, guys! All of you who commented are on my list of the most talented writers here, so your praise, votes and hearts mean soooo much to me! Sheesh. My eyebrows are stuck in shock mode up by my hairline over this. Thank you, thank you, thank you! (Oh, great...now I sound like freakin' Sally Field at the Oscars...)

The story reads like a Jane Austen novel...I'm just sorry that I read slowly....but maybe I do because I savor every word and sentence.
