I originally wrote this purely as a short story that never meant to be continued, but I've had several people ask pretty much the same as you did, and some who told me it needed to be a longer story. So,okay. I'll give it a shot, and see what kind of romance I can get going for her. Come to think of it, that should be quite interesting... xD

Thank you so much! Life can get way too serious sometimes, and it makes me glad to know I made someone laugh. Thanks, too, for the kind words of encouragement. In fact, I'd like to offer a few of my own - I read your story about Pix ("Dear Stranger"), and it was totally wonderful! The whole idea of anonymous letter-writing was awesome, and the way it progressed to texting was the perfect way to move the story along. I was really, really impressed with your style, your imagination, and your ability to tell a great story. You asked at the end what should happen next; I get the feeling that StrangerDanger is the same Carter from her school and who had been dating Aly, which introduces an element of conflict that can only be resolved in one of two ways - tragically, or romantically. Considering the path along which you've brought the story, I think you'll probably have elements of both before resolving it with a happy, or maybe bittersweet, ending. So crank up that imagination of yours, role-play your main character for a while in various scenarios, then choose the one that flows the most easily with the beginning of the tale. Whatever you choose to do next, though, I have a feeling it will be perfect.

So in response to your encouragement for me to keep going with my writing, I say, I will if you will! =D I look forward big time to reading the next installment of "Dear Stranger"!

Thank you for reading my story and for your kind comments! I really appreciate your taking the time. I've been surrounded lately by vampire fanatics, and needed to address the topic the only way I know how - with humor and what probably translates to my own brand of weirdness. Thanks Joe! Thank you, too, for the suggestion about Humorous Writings. I'm still a bit shaky about how to add things to groups, but I remember seeing something about it on one of the pages, so I'll give it a try.

Glad you liked it - I'm not a big fan of the whole vampire genre, which is what (in a somewhat warped way) inspired me to write the story. Hey, if it elicits a giggle or two from those who read it, I'm happy. ;-)
