Thank you! Actually, this was my very first attempt at a short story - I write full-length novels for the most part. My second attempt was "Stranger Than Fiction," also posted on this website. So I don't know - do you think "Moonlighter" is worth continuing? At least into a kind of novelette? Hm. Btw, I went to your profile to see what books you had posted, and that first one about the parallel universe looks amazing. I plan to sit down later (after running eighteen thousand errands while fending off demanding children, husbands and dogs) with a cup of coffee and read it as my treat to myself for all the craziness of my day.
