Okay. Well, at age 6, our children go to Kindergarten, where they learn the alphabet and the basics of reading, as well as how to socialize and work with authority outside the home (the teacher). Starting at around 7, they attend Elementary School, which is 1st grade through 5th grade, one grade per year. Then comes Middle School (6th through 8th grade), and then High School, which most kids start at age 15, and which goes from 9th through 12th grade. After that, they either enter a college or university, which for a regular Bachelors degree is four years; for a Masters, another year or two (depending on the student and whether or not he or she continues classes through the summer), but another four for a Doctorate.

Every school gives what they call pop quizzes, tests that haven't been announced, mid-term exams given just before winter break, and end-term exams, also called finals, at the end of the school year. They also have one huge exam sponsored by the government called a Comprehensive Assessment Test give toward the end of the year as well. Some schools also have a Regents Exam given to all grades, but all schools have the PSAT for 11th-graders (Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test) and the SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test) for 12th graders - this is the test that have the most influence on whether or not you are accepted in the college or university of your choice. Students who don't do well on these either go to a community college which offers a two-year Associates degree, or wait a year or two and apply as an adult at a regular college or university.

You're right. It just seemed like he was making some kind of effort to do things right this time around, but because of the language barrier, can't fully grasp how the site works. Of course, that doesn't change the fact that he's obsessed by death and violence, which definitely feeds into the nut case assessment. Anyway, I've pretty much said all I plan to. If he continues being a jerk, I'll do as you've done - grit my teeth and push the "Ignore" button.
