I'm glad you contacted me. I've been working on your story, along with several others, and was making great progress when something screwed up with my computer. Your story is still there, but for some reason I can't access it.

Would you send it again? I know exactly what the edits were, so in case I can't figure out how to open the original one again (I'm calling the Geek Squad later today about that and some other issues), at least I'll have a backup copy on which to re-apply the edits.

Sorry about this - I just started having this problem about three days ago and I wasn't sure what the heck to do about it, so you may have saved me a lot of extra work.

As soon as I have the new copy, I'll put everything else aside and get yours done first, since you've had to wait so long. Thank you for being so patient.

Sure! Go to your book's page by clicking on its title. Click on the URL bar, then right-click and copy the link. Then you write a message, and copy/paste the link in it. Let me know if that works.

What do you need edited, and how long is it?

Once I've completely finished my books, I wouldn't mind someone looking at them for me.

Ah! Okay. To be honest, I'd love to help you myself, but would need some time before starting them. I'm currently doing a free edit on a full-length novel for one of the other members here, while trying to get the edits finished on the third book of my MacDara series so I can get it to the publisher, and also working as a writing partner/editor for a screenwriter, so I'll need to get at least one or two of those done before starting another project, or I'll probably lose what little is left of my mind, lol.

I'm looking at mid-November for when I should have time for something like that, but if you need someone sooner, I'll ask around and see if anyone else here can help you out. Would that be okay?
