Always, lol. Actually, I'm adding a few things to Book III that have to do with some marketing ideas. I'll run it by you as soon as it's written in. I've forgotten what we decided about the cover - been totally immersed in NaNoWriMo for the past week and it's wreaked havoc on my already sketchy memory - yikes!

I'm going to be submitting "The Warriors of Rinn" (one of the first covers you did for me) to CreateSpace for conversion to paperback. I've also messed with the POV on that one and think I've hit all the mistakes in that regard. If you could give it a read and let me know if there are any glaring no-nos, inconsistencies, or other errors, I'd be grateful. Let me know if that's something you have time to do and I'll email you the MS.

I do that, though - take my frustrations out in prose, like my odd whatever-speculation-story thing about Isaac Newton. THAT one came about as a result of a button popping off the cuff of one of my long-sleeved shirts; still cant find the stupid thing (the button, I mean).

May I suggest you give your English a boost by immersing yourself in some of our classic literature. The best way to conquer a new language is to read, read, read. Read the works of Charles Dickens, Mary Shelley, Agatha Christie, TH White, and Lloyd Alexander to see how British authors wrote, back in the days when writing was a true art. For American authors, from whom you can get a better grasp of colloquial expressions as well as a feel for their writing styles, try Mark Twain, Ernest Hemingway, John Steinbeck, Edgar Allan Poe, and Stephen King.

Believe it or not, taking a month or so off from writing to read those authors will be worth years of education in writing classes. When you immerse yourself in books of that quality, you begin to absorb the various styles, together with a greater understanding of not only how a book should be formatted, but how a story line should be developed, what good dialogue sounds like, and the importance of point of view, consistency of tense, and an almost instinctive comprehension of English grammar.

In today's world, most young people spend the majority of their time reading and writing text messages. As a result, their grammar and spelling are atrocious, they lose the ability to use their own imaginations, and end up writing "books" that are nothing more than badly-written, extended text messages about over-used themes, like the cute girl who gets bullied and has an abusive father but the most gorgeous guy in school likes her so the other girls can't stand her; or the cut girl who the most gorgeous guy in school likes but she's really a secret werewolf/vampire/witch...blah, blah, blah. Yech. Some of these so-called books use almost no punctuation, the spelling is terrible, and other than learning what color underwear this cute girl puts on under her skinny jeans, the reader is presented with an almost incomprehensible jumble of confused images. It's impossible to tell who is talking or when, because paragraphs are misused or not used at all. Oy. What a mess!

Seems like instead of chatting, these writers are booking. Or something. Anyway, from what I could see of how you write, in your native language, you're probably very good at it. You have clever ideas, solid concepts, and an interesting way of looking at life. These are all elements that will go a long way toward you becoming an excellent writer.

But first, do the best thing you can do for yourself - read. Take that list I gave you very seriously, and start diving in, and keep a Dictionary with you all the time. Don't write anything while you're doing it, except perhaps to jot down ideas in a notebook - but only a few words. Then, after you've been reading for a month, take another look at your books here. I guarantee you'll suddenly have the skills to start editing and improving those stories, and the beginnings of a greater ability to write some new ones.

Please try it. This is the very best advice I know to give you - and let me know how it works out!

I came to you because I saw and read your advice that you gave it to my fellow user and friend Shkumbin Gashi on his book “CHASING LIGHT IN DARKNESS”. And from there I thought that if had any kind of trouble here on this site, I will come to you, and I thought right as I see that you’ve given me this great advice, thank you for it.

I really cannot judge anyone here because I am not so good myself, I want to tell you more about myself Ma’am, I want to write self-help books as well, I am also learning and working as a screenplay writer. But my family has no kind of support and fate in me becoming a great writer…..my father says that I am wasting time in this and there nothing good coming out of all this, in other words “it’s pointless”…..I don’t believe him and I want to prove him and others wrong!.....I really want to be a writer and that is why I came to you for professional help and guidance from a senior writer itself!
