I've always believed that poems should have some sort of rhythm, some sort of rhyme. That's why I loved your poems. I'm lucky I can ask you what you meant by 'fish famish'. It's a privilege to ask an author what he meant because most of the classic writers are no more.

Of course you've got my vote. You should try some of marietta's stuff it's awesome as well as olfaphilo - however be warned. You'll have to grope in the dark for awhile before starting to shed light on those writers.

Hi Joe - I liked every one - they are all different and straight from your peotic mind on to the paper. That's how poetry should be - spontaneous. Because I am a Classical Poet I could take each poem and tweak it into a Sonnet or a Villanelle or a Haiku or some other straight jacket but then it would cease to be a "Parente" and lose all its fun factor. So well done again and thanks for entertaining us with a lovely collection of very free verse !!!! JOHN

I have to say that this is one of the best books I have read in a very long time! It is wonderful and carefully written. It really captivates the reader, especialy ones like me since I love poetry, and write myself.

I would most defenitly want to see this book on the shelvs for other readers to enjoy. I, myself, would love to make your book an addition to my poetry collection.
