Joe I just finished reading this book and I must say that although I very much enjoyed it, I found that there were many instances of forced rhymes. That might be an area that you will want to address in the future.

I enjoyed the book, particularly the poems relating to nature. They were so realistic, the reader felt they were in that realm. The author has a very keen sense of what nature is. It was also elightening to a reader who did not have that sense. I did not relate to some of the poetry but I suppose we all have our favorites.
Very good. Light hearted and witty yet quite sincere. I notice you favor couplets and internal rhyme, you may want a little more variation just for a dynamic pace. That's all I would suggest for the mechanics, there were a few minor gramatical errors but not too bad.

Loving the ocean as I do I enjoyed your look at a seamans world.
I really enjoyed the various stories. You must be a woodsman or fisherman to have such insight into coastal nature. Do you have a partner?
