Brilliant beginning. I don't usually make it through books that are this long on here, but this one just might have a chance. You hooked me from the first word.

I think it's interesting that she's going to be Christine in POTO, because the premise of the book and the beginning of the story made me think of exactly that show. :)

Can't wait to read more.

I loved this so much! I started this morning, and then my brother came in and told me we had to go clean a house. I WAS SO MAD. As soon as we got home, I started reading again, and I just finished it.
I loved it so much. I love Phantom of the Opera, and as I was reading I was listening to the songs. :)
I loved how... Oh, I loved everything. How you got all the emotions across in every scene. No matter who was talking, I knew exactly how they felt or what they meant.
How REAL the whole thing felt, from beginning to end.
How you placed her memories of Merrik in just the right places so that they seemed to fit perfectly.
How you managed to get the readers attached to each of the characters, in one way or another.
I loved how Venna was able to get better, move on from what had happened, let it make her a stronger person.
The list goes on, but I won't list every little thing that I liked. It's a long book, very well written, so I'd be here for a pretty long time.

I loved this book. It was intense and full of emotion, and the twist at the end was perfect!! Not only was the story itself amazing (even though there were the usual grammar errors like words being left out), but also, I loved all the extra details you added to it to make it feel more real. The balance between the British and American characters, the memories of her stay with Merrick, and Venna's reaction to everything were all perfect. I must also add, that I love Phantom of the Opera, Evanescence, Paramore, Adele, and Vampire Weekend, all of which are mentioned or sung throughout the story. I'm going to try to not ramble too much more, because I don't want to spoil the book for anyone who reads the comments before they read the story!

P.S. I agree with rebeckdawn. Advertise this book wherever possible. It definitely deserves more reads and praise.

there are just so many emotions running through me, i'm about halfway through and i'm so worried about Venna! i would go crazy if i were her!

It's so much easier to read now that it's in BookRix book form! This story is so intense, I couldn't put it down! You need to advertise it more in the groups (where you're allowed) because it deserves so many more reads!
