It is very hard to love someone who won't love back but some people have been through a lot and it is difficult for them to trust and feel safe .
Accepting that is important; so acceptance to you and understanding and no demands for what can't be freely given.

if others approach you with love in their heart remember we are brought up to believe and feel we all need love. It was a mothers love that helped us grow and now we are in the world we still need the love of others and be able to give love; so have compassion for the lovers- its what they feel comfortable with.

Yet I know the feeling of wanting to be alone, independent.

Here is a poem i wrote ; it is what early peoples believed and what I believe too

"i am not alone, i am with myself , myself is my constant companion.
i am with the Great Earth Mother and all that she creates
She is my constant companion, as are all the other creatures and plants on the earth.
i will return to her."

Sad, everyone should know how to love, everyone has needs, no one should judge anyone anyway and best of all always be yourself, as long as you don't hurt others
