Frances, I can visualize the cycle of shock to acceptance. The book comes full circle.
I can only imagine how difficult and yet cathartic it was to write these poems, such is the beauty of writing.
My favorites were Too Many Tears, Early Mourning, and Going Through the Motions. They seemed to reach deeper within you, although I'm sure every one is close to your being.

Thank you for sharing a very intimate look at a painful journey, Frances. May your brother's memory stay close within you while you do move on. It's a tough balancing act at first, but as you mentioned, with time, it gets easier.
