Wow, not at all what I expected from the blub, but that’s not a bad thing.
The tone of the story is very real and matter-of-fact right up to the end…so far. I like this style of writing. It’s very honest. This isn’t my usual preferred reading, but I can’t deny good when it’s in front of me. I though the prolog was very moving. Needs to be fattened a bit more with descriptions and there are a few typos here and there.
That said though, they don't detract anything from the plot and I love to read more about Rachel's life.
