Good luck!
I found this both amusing and touching, and being the parent of grown up children myself I relate to it completely. I look forward to reading more of your work.
Hi Miranda, nice to see someone from United Kingdom; my latest novel, The Long Night Moon, is listed on Amazon.com in your country. Thanks for your lovely comments, and also for the friend invite; I am delighted to meet interesting, and involved people on this site. I will check... mehr anzeigen
I thought I did read and commented on it. It is a good story, suffused with memories and sentiment, heavenly bodies of the children.
Very well written Elizabeth. I enjoyed your story. The opening of the small flood cemented me to the book. I grant you a star for a star author./joeparente
Ahh, stellar words coming from a Stellar writer! I appreciate the read and also your time. When I sit down to do a little bit of writing, I get lost in the words and time gets away from me...as I'm sure it does for you, so thanks again for reigning in your time for my story. Wa do, Elizabeth
I enjoyed seeing your past events through your eyes. Thanks for sharing a piece of your life and past with us. Keep writing. Good luck and best wishes.
Thanks, Cavlaster, I didn't expect you to read my book at all, and especially this quickly. Thanks, too, for the comments. I value other writers words very much. Wa do, Elizabeth
Funny how things take us back -- and forward.
Elizabeth I loved your story. Anyone who has children can surely relate to how pieces of the past, when brought to the forefront, will stir warm memories.
Janice, thanks for reading my story, and for the lovely comments. When I write I try to see the piece as a reader might see it; sometimes this is easier than others. I find when into a story, whether it be non-fiction, or fiction, if my thoughts flow ahead in an easy rhythm, I... mehr anzeigen
You write with great passion, Elizabeth. I really liked the story.

Thanks,Koyel. I return this phrase to you and your writing. I am delighted that Bookrix draws such talented, and interesting people to its site. Thanks for giving your own unique style to this place. Wa do, Elizabeth
You chose a very apt title for this story. One event/calamity, such as you describe in your story, can prompt you to do something, that reminds you of whole life time of other events.
Reading this story reminded me of similar happenings in my own life.
Thank you for sharing this heart-warming story.
Thanks for reading my story; it is always grand to hear that my work reaches something deep inside a reader. When I start to write, it is because the basis of the story will not let me rest until I move to put it in print...Wa do, Elizabeth
Such a testimony that eye contact between husband and wife tells so much. No words needed. I liked your story very much.
What an image your sobriquet conjures up; somewhat other-worldly, and still on the fence about how 'it' views what's in front of her/him, a thinker, and not about to get into the fray until assured it won't gobble him/her up. Thank you for reading my work and for your wonderful... mehr anzeigen
