Hehe that is such an awesome story! I felt like Judy watching all the old movies and wishing I were Eva Gardner dancing with Frank or Fred, or Julie Andrews playing alongside James Garner =D You really pinned down how those old movies make you feel more feminine and sexy, very well done.
Really very cool story idea =D
Quite an intriguing story with deffenant twilight or X-files type of story I enjoyed it very much
Thanks, Matt for your time and comments. As for the spacing of paras, that is Bookrix's format, and in spite of looking okay in the text box on Bookrix, when it is put in book mode, the spacing changes. Since it doesn't show the incorrect spacing in the text box, there is no way to correct it...ALSO, it is in my Documents and in correct formatting status. Thanks, again, for your read. I will get to your work today. Elizabeth
Good idea for a story, you have nailed the narrative voice. Now the editor in me has to say a few words. I think the indents for your para's are too large and the first para should not be indented but all subsequent para's should be, the exceptions are page breaks, e.g. if you're starting a new transition or chapter or something similar.
Great work.
Don't you just enjoy walking the fantasy path when creating a character?...it frees up so many avenues. When I decide to take an untraveled road, I never know where I'll end up...it always surprises me. I am humbled to be able to take a journey into the unknown. Thanks, Mary, for stepping into my story, and the vote is simply the icing on the cake.
Slightly unnerving but done with such love and respect that the blow of the realities we all must face when aging is almost sweet. Thanks, Willie!
So good to hear from you, and so glad you liked the story. I will be getting in touch very soon. Thanks a bunch!
Willie, I finally made it on to the site. Just read "...And Mrs. Harris Stopped Dancing". Interesting and captivating story. This story could easily have made it to Twilight Zone.
Thanks, Rob, for your time and interest. I am delighted to have the star. Wa do, Elizabeth
