a lovely story..very touching indeed...

I was deeply touched by this story! I had so much melancholy for the mother who lost her baby along with her struggle of dealing with that no good father who showed no remorse for his sons. Sometimes the choices we aren't always the right choices.

This short story is really touching. i think i have only now got to that stage when i really understand books. This short story made me cry from the deepness of the text.

More powerful to me, because I'm Donna's sister. If she were to continue on with her writing career... Well...she HAS!!

Over the past three years, Donna has survived stage-4,'inoperable' (cannot operate due to the extremity of the spreading tentacles coursing through her entire, precious and talented body) cancer, as well as those 'other', even more annoying details of'stage-4' life. Her cancer has recently returned, but she has (more than anyone else I can think of) a' Light', and I know she will outlive many of us. Even on earth.

During this 3-year period of time she has managed to re-secure an interest into an old hobby of hers. Writing.

Donna has already completed the first two volumes of her incredibly tantalizing trilogy. entitled "Redemption"

We've all heard that word before. We've all probably seen multiple writings on the subject. This trilogy - however - encompasses everything we humans have a need/longing for.

And No...this is not my Baptist Grandfather's version of "Little House on the Prairie". You will be stunned by the grace Donna was given, while still allowing a sense of romance into her work. I'm anxiously awaiting her (third) final book, but have already come away with a sense that I've been personally touched by what I have learned from this unique writer. AND... I may even try a little harder, to make my way to heaven.
