I found that I much enjoyed you're book. I don't mine or another stands a chance. I have been so busy, writing and reviewing books on my main site, that it gets hard to get back to this one.
But, the book is great. Wish I could figure how to format mine like that.

Dennis you have a talent for writing. There was "The Snow Filled Field" The deer took it's last vapor of breath. I found that one to be my favorite.

Thanks for the invitation. Based on the title, I would have passed this book by. I do adore the illustrations, taking me along on your journey. Quite a journey here, over years, over winter peaks and valleys; mostly it speaks of life and life's collateral damage.

The earlier pieces, less complex, set a stage on which the later pieces execute complex movements through twists and turns of breakage and reflection.

I am honored and made more aware through your writings, through what you thereby offer of your life's working toward wisdom.

Liked God Has Forgotten the best.

These deeply personal poems express awe and wonder at nature, give voice to personal joy and pain and grapple with the mysteries of life in very musical language. Sometimes the poets ear, his intoxication with and love of words, leads him astray, especially in the earlier poems. But he is usually guided back by a sharp eye and an abiding honesty. Certainly worth a vote.
