A mountain of depth in few words. In many ways it took me back to my youth. I will read again and see things I never saw before.

The book is very powerful and does reflect many of my views as well. I found there was great depth and beauty in this. Keep penning them

I thought I would stop reading but it picked up wonderfully when it moved on closer to 2000. Directness and holding back none, I like that a lot. I really liked this collection of poems written in free verse style and painting snow with your words. Imagery is exquisite and expressive. Great work!

Warmest best,

The collection is very good, very affecting. You can't forget -- that vital event in your life settles in your bones to stay.

Oops! I guess evapasco already used Rich and Imagery. So I'll amend my comment and say, An abundance of text induced visual treats.

They all provide insight into the Author and are filled with rich imagery. "Cusp of spring" really stands out in my opinion. Nice work.

I enjoyed reading your book. Some of the poems expressed great sadness which I really felt through your words. While others were more accountive and cheerful. My favorite poem must be 'the bear and the butterfly' just beautiful. Nice work

There was a moratorium on hunting in the Adirondacks in the early '70's and the hundreds of deer carcuss lined near edge of woods and across roads was heart wrenching.

I've also been... mehr anzeigen

As a vegetarian for nearly 50 years, I do not believe in killing any animals for any reason. However, I do appreciate your feelings about deer starving, and know that the increase in deer population due to moratoriums can increase that possibility. Though I never bought that... mehr anzeigen
