Lovely book.I did vote for It.Best of luck!
Dennis, I read and enjoyed your winter book of poems and went ahead and gave you my vote. I hope you'll like my book, Like Snowflakes Descending, enough to give it a vote.

I love the pics and your poetry. Thanks for sharing your life through the art of poetry. Good luck!
BTW, check the contest rules aand ensure your book pages are not exceeded the amount allowed. =-) Take care and keep writing.
Hi,
Thanks for your comment. Contest detail states that book has to be at least 20 pages.
Peace,
Dennis
I've read it a few times and I can see that there is a source of pain present and something that changed your life. Perhaps I missed the whole story and perhaps I'll find out later. Your work is in chronological order and your journalistic style is impressive. As far as the source of pain that I sense in this book, I hope that things are better now...I really mean that. I may be a BookRix friend that you have just met, but... mehr anzeigen
Hi Tariq,
Thank you so much for your comment. Yes, I have had tragedy in my life, and yes, I have been fortunate to have had poetry and writing to help me heal. Thank you for your beautiful words.
Peace,
Dennis
I appreciated the deepth inspired by everyday situations and observations in your poems. Good luck!

I't hunting season now, and my wife and I have already found two dead... mehr anzeigen
I liked your some free some rhymed style and your way of expression. Your choice of words make it so visual and so real that we feel them in our hearts as each poem reflects another glimpse of your life. "Open the Door" is my favorite, by the way:)
In short, it was extraordinary and real. I enjoyed reading it.
Good Luck Dennis!
From "November in the Garden" with nature's ever present bounty to all the poems of your surroundings! You seem most comfortable in the mountains! Can so relate to many of your locales having lived near Woodstock for some years.
Beautiful, Dennis! Petra :))
Thanks for taking interest in adding me as a friend ...I went over your poetry ...nicely done ..I especially enjoyed the one about having woken to go *the number one* or pee ... :)
Hi,
Thank you for your vote. It is very appreciated. I will read your book.
