Great poems. I enjoyed reading them. My favorite was God Has Forgotten. It really touch me and it was wrote so beautifully.

Forgive the lack of depth in my first comment but my favorite line from the entire book was "I am up at 3 am to pee".....it just sitcks out as something very basic to a lot of the deep things you cover. :)

Poem 11...I love the way you (and God) have a conversation.."God does implore" and "To God I roar"....man, that really is so so so so so so so true.

Poem 13...God has forgotten...very nice to know the paradox that God has indeed not forgotten...that was a fantastic one for sure!

The only thing that leaves me scratching my head is the last line..."Inner vision is no excuse for lack of reason". It's so funny you wrote that because I used to, and still do, live by the inner creed that inner vision is the only excuse for lack of reason! Good to see it staring back at me in it's opposite.

This was good. I really enjoyed it.

Let's hope my ski trip in February inspires a few poems.

wow. really liked the one about the noreaster (4 i think) felt like i was there, and i wanted some cider. your stuff is very visible.

You program in a language that makes images appear out of words. You are a skilled poet! All of your poems have vivid imagery, but my favorite was #7 because I like the idea of "snow sweat[ing] vanilla ice cream sculptures", and then the encroachment of the "pedigree communities" at the end. :) Good luck!

I greatly enjoyed the tales of winter you penned in poetry. I related, emoted, laughed and wiped away a tear. After having spent 16 years in Denver, Colorado where winters were indeed white and snow hills were meant to be skied upon ~ it was nice to have a bit of a "homecoming" to winter via your words. Beautiful job and vote worthy :-)
