What a wonderful story! It brought back memories of my childhood with my sister! Well done!
Just finished reading the Arrowhead and enjoyed it very much. I love tales of young kids trying their wings. It sounds like your brother was a heck of a guy and it's sad that an accident took his young life. The story had the ring of truth and if so you have my condolences for your loss.

Thanks Davis, for a lovely interlude into the mysterious and enchanting cycle of siblings everywhere. In living our lives as writers, we get to revisit our life episodes twice. And quite often, the second time around shakes us more than the first time of it. Our mind, as a camera, gets a second go at it in slow motion, and to pull the emotions to full strength. Thanks for being a writer and sharing this story. Wa do, Elizabeth
A most excellent read my friend and I have myself gone on such adventures as a child ad the memories are forever
Very nicely written evoking childhood dares and invincibility. It was a surprise where the tale ended and I really must learn to keep a box of tissues handy...a vote and a star...Paula
Forest and mountain make an adventure ,you show a good literature. You give a vivid
description .It's a good narration.Your writing has something unique because it can
prove that God is omnipresent and we human being do everything with His consent.
Your story brought back my childhood playful memories. Your story has the flow like the smooth stream. You have succeeded in capturing the reader's attention.
The book has my vote. It is a moving story about family and relationships. You told a great story!
Loved the story, the emotion and the ease with which it is presented. I voted for it. Is it true? If not, I'd like it to be--that makes it a great story.
I know about those days etched into the memory for always, and you describe this one so well. I was certainly not expective the ending, and suddenly the memory took on a very different resonance. It was moving and I enjoyed reading it.
