An hour later I looked at her clock it was midnight and I could still hear my family’s laughter. I went to my window and gazed out into the forest. What was that? A flicker of a shadow caught my eye. I swore I saw it, but I shook my head and thought maybe I had finally cracked. I picked up my binoculars and leaned close to the window and there by my willow tree behind the bushes were these men in red crunching on the ground. Oh my god! I picked my cell phone so I could call the police, but what would I say to them? I can’t just tell the police that there are men in my backyard in the bushes wearing red ninja costumes. If they didn’t lock me away in asylum then they would just arrest me for prank calling them. I have to make sure of what I saw before I call the police. I pick up my binoculars again and looked at the spot again and there was no one there. This can’t be happening to me! I saw them behind the bushes, but there no one in my backyard anymore. I put down my binoculars and sat on my bed. Maybe there was no there in the first place. This isn’t the first time I was seeing things. The other day I felt like someone was watching me and across the street from the Anderson’s house there was this tall lean handsome man in Armani suit who was watching me. He was leaning against a dark sleek car with shaded windows. He made GQ models seem pale in comparison, but there was this intensity in him like a wild animal lurked beneath his skin. When he took off his sunglasses and looked at me I caught my breath. His eyes were a light hazel green and the intensity of his gaze made my heart beat faster, but I looked away trying to break his hold on me. He growled and I raised my eyes catching his hungry gaze. His determined expression seemed as though he accepted a challenge I never gave; yet as he looked at my confused expression he gave me a devastatingly sexy smile that made my knees weak.
