You know the feeling of being torn, I see. I'm so glad that you enjoyed the story but my prayers go out to you and your family for having had endured such pain. That's really my reason for writing such a story. There are so many families dealing with this very situation and though the medical community has made great strides in helping people live longer, healthier lives since the setting of this story, we should still keep educating and encouraging folks- just don't get it! This disease destroys lives but as I've tried to illustrate it can also be used as a tool to bring individuals together for support and education.

Well I am definitely not a professional book critic, just someone who enjoys writing and loves to read. In my opinon, a good story/book is one that's hard to put down or stop reading right after picking it up.

This is an absolutely great read! The sequence, the message, the subject and the "stories withing the story" captured my interest from beginning to end!

One doesn't have to have a son (or daugther for that matter) to relate; as there seems to be at least one character that everyone can connect with! Excellent!
