First effort ? ? What took you so long!
The ability to write is common, the ability to create with words is rare. You've got it girl. . . and we benefit. Lucky us ! ! !
It's a little weird and interesting to read your book since it's about you and daddy. I really enjoyed reading about your experiences though. It's really special to have for me, because it's a bit of our family history. I hope you keep writing more and more because you are really awesome! Love, Chloe
Kar ... Great memoir!! I enjoyed reading it and will look for more entries from you. I've always said you are a wonderful writer!! Keep writing and keep submitting your stories! I voted for YOU ...
Enjoyed the twists and turns, written so eloquently! Petra :))
Okay ~ to say that I am overwhelmed is an understatement at best. The comments that you all have provided make my heart sing. Thank you, thank you.
I felt my story was so rough around the edges that it took all my courage to submit it. As my first ever effort, I can say that I will keep plugging along and add to what I've begun.
Again, thank you all so much for the positive feedback and constructive comments.
Kindly,
Karis Vail
Karis Vail has given us an intimate portrait of an American woman who is a mother, wife and owns a business with her husband. Unhappy with her situation, she dreams about changing her life, being a chef, living in Italy, and against all odds, makes it happen. Well written mini-memoir that is a lesson for all of us who dream.
thank you, Chefkar, for inviting me this early Saturday morning to read your brilliant little book and to share your experiences, joys and sorrows. I'll come back to you to improve my English and again enjoy your very tasty dish.
