Thank you for the wonderful feedback! The Daughter was my first attempt at writing a 'real' western, and you can see how well that turned out, lol! I couldn't do it, the story evolved on it's own into something entirely different. But that is one of the fun and fascinating things about being a writer! And, who knows, maybe the western world is ready for some evolution! :)
I know what you mean about it reading fast, I think some of that has to do with, when I uploaded, the formatting went all to hell on me- and I just haven't felt like going through all 222 pages to fix it, lol
I don't want to dissuade you from reading the rest, but I will let you know, that the book isn't finished entirely- But I have been working on it.
