I'm sure you don't need me to tell you this, but this was an incredibly creative and beautifully portrayed story! It's just too bad the limit for this contest was 25 pages because more detail would have made it even more captivating. Thank you for the great read and for taking the time out to read my book! I really liked the idea, although there were a few language items which distracted my attention from the story.

Accurate description of time vortexes. Robots do not understand love, but this is a good case-study for its logic syntax errors. I think Lachlan is a robot, the fish smell is likely from the synthetic oil used to lubricate his joints, so I am saving this to my favorite memory banks.

Wow, that was a really creative story! As many have already commented, it had a little bit of everything...sci-fi, historical fiction, and romance. You are skilled at creating drama and intrigue, and I really liked the whole love triangle aspect. You managed to establish a credible tension between Lachlan, Vittorino, and Myriana in just a few pages. I agree with what others have posted...it's too bad it's a short story, because it would be nice to read more.
