I'm just going to set the record straight. Any book that I publish will have mistakes in them. I have been writing since I was twelve years old and believe me when I say I have come along way. Now, I say this because I got a comment from a reader saying that I needed to edit my book and that she won't read it because it has too many errors in the first chapter.

I don't mean to be rude or sound obnoxious but here is the truth.

1. I put a whole lot of effort into my writing of any novel I write. I don't just come up with an idea and write it out. I actually mull it over for quite a while just to develop character and plot.

2. I also edit my stories before I post them. However, I get sick of reading my own work. I'll read a story three and four times after I post it and continue to edit is as I read. So, excuse me if by the time I finish my brain is mush and I just really don't want to look at the novel any more.

3. I've seen alot worse from amateur novelists. I write because I love to write and I don't mean to toot my own horn, but rather display confidence when I say, "I'm a very good novelist." I may not get every single comma, period, punctuation mark, dialogue, sentence structure, and what ever else may be wrong right, but I do put a lot of effort into my novel, so unless you want to take over the job of editing for me or you're going to pay the funds for me to get an editor, do what you set out to do and read the story. I believe that no author is perfect and in fact, I wonder how many mistakes world reknown writers like Stephen King, Patricia Cornwell,Dean Koontz and many others like them make before their book is published.

4. I write because I love coming up with ideas and sharing them with everyone. I'm not saying that I don't want anyone to critique my novel, but it does piss me off when I get a shallow comment such as, "I would read your book but it's got too many grammatical errors." Well, how about you edit the damn thing and save me a piece of mind.

I first wrote all signs point to you and a test of love four years ago, since then I've added some chapters, corrected some mistakes and did everything else I could think of to make the books decent. So, anyhow if you choose to read it please do so, but please don't tell me about investing in any editors unless you are willing to do it yourself. I've worked hard and done as much as I can stand to do right now. One day when I get the money I plan to become a published author. I won't have to miss any mistakes because someone will catch them for me.

I just decided to post another story I'm working on, just to see how it would go over with the readers. It's a vampire story. I'm not that good with vamp novels. It's a challenge because I have a hard time believing they exist, so I put a little past belief that vampires are immortal with contemporary belief that they are human and came up with a little something called

Lilith's Shadow.

It's not your average vampire novel, that I'm sure of, but hey it's been fun writing it. I am currently on chapter Ten and would love to see what you guys think.... Oh yes and the book contains grown up situations and grown up people and lots of sex so if you don't like it, don't read it, but it's great getting my creative juices flowing. So Harrah (if that's how you spell it) for my very first immortal novel. So, have fun while you read this...I did when writing it.

Like the User name says, my name is Brandy and I am a 28 year old mother of three who loves to write. I have written two novels so far.

All Signs Point to You: A novel about two teenagers who fall in love in high school and go through everything and in between. It's an interracial relationship.

Drama/Romance

The sequel, which I just posted today continues where this book left off at two years later.
It just goes to show that when you truly love someone even if you separate, you always come back to one another. Love is a process that has the ability to break you down and rebuild you back if you allow it to.
