I do have problems similar to what your going through. Except when I write I tend to fall into my story and can't seem to find a way out.

Now for your characters, how they should meet? The girls could take a tour of the rainforest and get separated from the group. And with Cass living and hunting on the island, he finds them and leads them back. That's one introduction. Any others I've no clue right now.

I'm writing as fast as I can on paper first that is. Later when I type things change but all's good. I'll tell you when I add more.

To overcome writer's roadblocks do the following:
1. Say whatever you are thinking aloud.
2. Visualize yourself reading to your audiences.
3. Just start writing....skip the first paragraph, page pr chapter and more on to the next. You will return later.
4. Draft an outline for your framework.
