I am assuming that the old man with all-timers is the young man who now wants to be a doctor. I think that is good, but it could use a little more detail when it switches back over to the young man. [But me picky personality is a bugger, so just ignore it.] Anyway, i think that it is good and you should keep it going.

its filled with intense emotions and icould feel the main characters agony and confusion and the joy that's felt when it turns out to be a dream its just so reliveing. :)

And you did it in only a few page but with extraordinarily well-chosen words. As soon as I saw where the ending was leading, I got a big smile and said, "Nice one, Barry! Awesome!"

I loved this! It kept me reading and interested to the end. I would suggest you reread and tweak just a few sentences but other than than this is a very fine story. Well done.
