You have done it again, Barry! I am awed by your sense of humor. This tale takes us to an intriguing place and delivers the goods. Your writing style is exceptional, along with your witticisms. Lol! I like the little innuendos you use and the clever way they are presented.

I don't know if the ending was meant to be funny or if she purposely chose the handmaiden just for that purpose.. No matter how it was meant, I liked this book ^^

Thank for being honest Carol. I want people to say what they really think. And I know, sometimes, you just need to use the public comments rather than a private message, to drive your point home. I do get it.

We just try out different stuff.

In this way we might discover our forte while still avoiding being pigeon-holed.

I can't say I'm wild about the genre as a whole, but this was fun to write... and, as you can see, a number of the best writer on the site took this "punch in the arm" sort of humor as intended.

The next one up... and it may be just a day away... will be much more than a 180° turn.

So don't give up on me just yet.

Ok, brilliantly written as usual Barry, but I can honestly say this is the first story of yours that I don’t like.

Now, before all your loyal readers start stoning me I’m not sure why I don’t like it.

However, the one thing that does come to mind is, sleazy...OMG I can’t believe I just said that...sorry.

I love humor created by play on words, which you seem to be a master of! I highly recommend this read for any author who loves innuendo, sly twists and words laced together cleverly.
