I do feel m.e.s. and parisjohn should read more of my work. Not just what is here on bookrix. This particular short story is for a contest and was aimed that way.

Thus, in general, I do not believe my writing -- for the most part -- is naive most of the time. I kept this little story in the guidelines; which, to me were limiting to what this story would be if I could go further or use more words (like 1,000, even).

It leave all kinds of delimmas. I like your writing, but am left wondering, so did it work? or not? I was confused becases it all went back to normal, then the letter arrives, so was she given a second chance?
