Reader Perspective - This is the first book I have read of your series. It reminds me of "The Dragons of Pern", a science fiction fantasy I loved when I was younger. You built the story well. I grew to respect Alanna. Enjoyed the mix of magic along with the dragon bonding. I enjoyed learning about Eragon and Arya. Liked the parental dragons. Kept my interest and I read all the way to the end to find out what happened. I especially enjoyed the scene with the uncle. Loved the line "if you don't want to end up in my dragons' belly."

I did skim some of the training parts. You have thought this out very well and your ability to list details is amazing. As a reader though, I wanted action, to move on through the story. I remember well how hard it is to format in Bookrix, so I'm not sure if the lack of breaking up dialog was the programming here or you, but at times I had to backtrack to figure out who was saying what.

Otherwise I would say you have the making of quite a fantasy story. You have done a great job. :)

In some of the lines there are no spaces after the periods. And I was able to spot a few missing words but so far it is a really good book. Trust me I have read a lot of good books.

Just out of curiosity, where did you come up with the title?

I'm starting to like her, too. Im having a difficult time keeping her as tern as I made her seem at the beginning. I liek the organization too, something I tend to go overboard on but in this case that's not a bad thing!
Now, setting, yes, everyone walks to work because this is in the time of the dragons so there are no cars, few wagons and horses are allowed within the city limits so walking is the only option. And it IS a large city. Well, by their standards. Aiedail-dras was actually the captiol if the country when Galbatorix was King but now, I think, that title has fallen to Ellesmera, which you'll discover in Adurna. She is very well organized. Such a big shop though. Does everyone walk to work? If the shop is this big, It would seem to be a very crowded community if everyone walked everywhere.
