Our grandparent's days were far more romantic than now. When men used to give roses instead of condoms (sorry slip of keyboard lol). Truly beautiful, I loved it. And Pedro Infante was just dreamy along with all of his songs. Not to mention Juan Luis Guerra has some catchy tunes. You have a knack for romance, very well done.

"We didn't live in a city that had stores and restaurants that are open till 3 in the morning."
Haha! Love that line!

this was very cute though and very nice to read.

Nice sentimental story.
When I was young and in love for the first time, I was always singing when I was with Ingrid. This was in the countryside during summer vacation.
Btw....this was not really romantic...I had a terrible voice and she would always tell me to stop...lol.

Review - Ah, so sweet and tender! You capture well the longings of a young girl's heart. Your ending paragraph was visually rich with different customs. I loved this story. Robynn

I did go to the window of a woman I loved. I sang "Earth Angel" in the moonlight.

And yes, she married me.

I don't know if those things still happen, but I believe there are still romantics in the world.

Loved your book.
