What an unnexpected ending. Words flow off the page in a cadenced rythm... Beautiful.

I don't know what more I can say that hasn't already been said. A well-written, beautiful story that thoughtfully expresses the extent to which true love extends - not only distance or time, but even through to the afterlife.

This was an amazing story. :) It was touching to see that His love for his wife lived on even after she was physically separated from him.

This is my favorite of all your stories! No way could I stop reading after I started. No wasted words just a beautiful picture.

I feel like I've just finished a master class in short story writing. I don't know where John gets his inspiration and if just a touch of it rubs off from reading his work I'll be extremely happy.
There is a beautiful build up in this piece from start to finish and the ending is so satisfying. I promised myself I wouldn't cry and sure enough, these big tears started to well up. One of my favorites in a list that is getting quite long from this author.
