I was captured by your writing style, and enjoyed your story. I loved the fact that she didn't dismiss a homeless man and found out more about him. He held a place in her heart. I thought it was an important part of the story to include the photo.
Excellent writing. I personally loved the flow and simplicity of words. And then the ending - truly sealed the story for me.

PS. It's been a while since I have 'favorited' a book on here. Thanks for giving me the perfect opportunity.
Another gem from one of our best writers. Perfectly written - beautifully portrayed - with an elegant ending. You bring your characters to life in every story, and this one is no exception. Thank you.
Excellent! Top notch writing. Worthy of being on a store shelf.
Love the ending.
I personally might have left the photo out of the last bit... but, then again, I wasn't clever enough to write any of it, was I?
It's a very good piece.
This is a very sweet story and reminds me of a homeless lady I used to talk to when I lived in LA. I love the ending to this story, and I've come to expect nothing but great endings out of John Laird!
JC,
Nice piece of writing. You made this an easy and enjoyable read. I pretty much expected something akin to your ending before I read it, but it still held my interest. By the way, didn't Rachel see a yellow or amber light between the green and the red one? LOL
Thanks,
Augustus
