Totally engaging from start to finish. The writing is clean, fresh and original... in all ways. Great descriptions that evoke all the emotions that one should feel. This is what short stories are meant to look like.

The story was very real and not in any way holywoodised. I shed a tear at the end, not sure if in joy or deep sadness. I would love to read more of your fantastic writing.

Wow! I loved that... yep. Definitely loved it. I love your description! It's so pure and hefty at the same time, vivid and dark. Way to pull that off!

I loved that they were angels-- were they angels? Archangels Michael and Gabriel, yeah? Both are in my other book "The Lucky One", but that's different. Anyways, it was sweet and sad at the same time. I think I noticed that most of your entire story-- you seemed to contradict yourself in a very good way.

I'm not making any sense, and I apologize. Just know that this was amazing and I loved it all.

As if the story itself wasn't amazing enough - well-conceived, a tribute to the entire short-story genre in its structure, intensity and flow - there isn't a single spelling or grammar mistake that I could see. A rare thing, that, and very impressive. Of course, even that bit of perfection pales in comparison to the depth of your tale, one that stays with the reader long after it's finished, making us think and consider life itself, and then wrapped up with an ending that knocks us back on our heels. You, sir, are a giant. Thank you for this story.

This was absolutely beautiful. I love the way you describe, I can picture everything in my mind. The twist at the end was lovely and I was definitely not expecting that, it was sweet and bitter at the same time.
